Captain Jay's grandfather, Rufus C. Holland, taught him to love and respect the water and nature.

Captain Jay is licensed by the U.S. Coast Guard and the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department.  He is certified in adult CPR and first aid.
 Jay is a member of the Coastal Conservation Association (CCA) and also listed in their guide directory.
He specializes in Redfish for anglers of all skill levels and welcomes children.
